So the birthday went better than I had expected. Went to Tower Records and bought some good indie music, got the new Harry Potter book (which thus far is congruent to amazing!), saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (which was quite good...people clapped at the end and gave it a standing ovation...that might be a bit overkill, but still a great film), went to Silver Diner for dinner and rocked out to the Beatles/the Temptations/Grease. Then came home and opened my cards (many of which contained money). It's good to have lots of family...especially rich family. Ended up with a total of $320 (of which I already blew 40 of at Tower Records). Haven't talked to S, but hopefully her b-day has been equally awesome.<33
